A Team passionate to serve people
The Lord said: "Go serve people at no cost!
Rev. Deon van der Berg received a clear calling into ministry from the Lord, as a young man. After completing his BA and BD in Theology at the University of Pretoria, his ministry started as a Chaplin in the South African Police Service. From there he served as a full-time minister in Morgenzon for 5 years and later at Valleisig, Pretoria congregation for 10 years.
He always had a passion for the marriage and relationships and began to focus his ministry on it. He served as a full-time minister and presenter at Life Enrichment (Lewensverrykking) where he presented seminars nationally. He had the opportunity to launch a radio show called “Hoe maak mens”, which focused specifically on marriage and relationships. After Deon’s retrenchment in March 2018, the Lord gave him a specific vocation and vision to go and serve people for free.
Rev. Deon focuses on making a huge impact everywhere he goes and is quick to respond to any specific need to give hope to people. He remains faithful to his vocation to serve people passionately at no cost.
Deon loves to live his life according to the following words:
“Only one life, it will soon pass. Only what’s done for God and His Kingdom, will last.”
Jesus says to His disciples: “And as you go, preach, saying, ‘The kingdom of heaven is at hand.’ … Freely you have received, freely give. Provide neither gold nor silver nor copper in your money belts, …; for a worker is worthy of his provisions.”
Matt.10:7-10
