The Interpretation of the Let’s Reconcile SA Logo
Reconciliation is a heart matter. The most important thing every individual should do is guard their heart. The heart symbolizes the central core of every individual, or rather the central core of the physical and spiritual being. It is compassion, understanding and life giving. When someone hurts you, breaks you down or betrays you, it is heart breaking.
The red heart on the logo symbolizes the human heart, life and blood that flows through our veins which gives life. As depicted on the logo the red heart is not whole because it represents people who live life through anger, bitterness and hate towards those who hurt them and caused them pain. There is an adage that says that not forgiving is like drinking poison and then hoping for someone to die meanwhile they are the one who die a slow death due to resentment, bitterness and anger. When you do not forgive you harbor hate and bitterness in your heart which robs you off freedom and happiness. To forgive is to set a prisoner free and discover that the prisoner was you.
The logo symbolizes purpose. It speaks about an individual who decides to guard their heart and choosing to walk through the gate that leads them to their freedom, leaving behind bitterness and hatred which keeps them imprisoned.
The green tick symbolizes the healing of the heart. Healing begins when you Let go of the hate. Forgiveness is the key to freedom, we must develop and maintain the capacity to forgive. He who is devoid of the power to forgive is devoid of the power to love.- You can only heal if you start walking the journey of forgiveness and reconciliation.
Your attitude towards your approach to reconciliation must start and live in your heart. No one has the right to cause another person pain or hurt them. But it is an individual’s choice to forgive so as to live a life of peace and most importantly always remember that one forgives to the degree that one loves.
Th choice of living with a whole heart instead of a broken one as depicted on the logo begins with you taking that decision. The Green tick on the logo symbolizes:
- The decision you made as an individual to walk the journey of forgiveness towards healing.
- The choice you made to reconcile with the people WHO hurt you and caused you pain.
The Green color on the logo symbolizes growth and healing of the heart. Green is also a natural color which emphasizes that forgiveness needs to be a natural and genuine decision and not forced. Hate, bitterness and revenge delay you, holds you back and robs you off. Joy and happiness. The moment you choose to forgive and reconcile, you will experience growth, life and freedom.
The symbol explains that a heart without the green tick as depicted speaks of a broken heart but the presence of the green tick speaks of a heart that is healed.
The word “let’s reconcile” is written in blue as a representation of life. The word “let’s reconcile” is a verb, it doesn’t only speak of an individual but a group of people who not only made a choice but acted towards reconciliation.
For reconciliation to take place, you need to first humble yourself in order to understand the next person’s pain and heart. This will then lead to progress, forgiveness and a new chapter in your life.
Deciding to reconcile with a person does not mean you have reconciled. An action is required which will then lead to healing.
